I've been busy here lately battling a depression of some sort....cry all the time & just got the 'blues' I hope they hurry up & go away, but if not, I'm prepared to try something to help me out.
Dealing with battles of the heart is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do & I don't like it at all. I'm slowly learning that there are things I just have to let go of & realize that everything happens for a reason. I need to learn to be happy with my life because it's not a bad one at all....just had some things that didn't go exactly as I had planned but then again, does anything ever work out like we want it to?
I have awesome kids, a great man, a good family, a goofy dog & a house to live in, food to eat, clothes on my back & a good bed to sleep in....I am thankful for all of it! Sometimes I want to rip my heart out & replace it with steel armor, but I know that wouldn't be good for my body! I am trying my best to keep a smile on my face, but some days it's a battle I lose. In fact, since the time change...it's been a battle I pretty much lose everyday, but it's slowly getting better...seems like the closer it gets to the holidays..things hit me the hardest.
This Thanksgiving is going to be hard...but I can do it...knowing they are watching from the heavens & they will always be in my heart & one day I'll see them again! For those that don't know..I'm talking about my grandparents...my grandpa passed back in 2005 & my grandma just passed May of this year...it's hit me like a ton of bricks & I'm still in the grieving stage...I think it made it especially hard because I didn't get to say goodbye, but I am thankful that her death was a comfortable one & that she went in her sleep. I always prayed that when God took her that he would do it in her sleep & that it wouldn't be painful or slow...he answered that prayer. She lived a long, good life & she was ready...I personally think she had been waiting 5 long years for that day so she could once again join my grandpa in Heaven.
My man let me pick out & order a necklace from The Vintage Pearl & so I ordered one in remembrance of my grandparents. The one I ordered is the layered Mother of Pearl. The inner layer says 'in loving memory of grandma and grandpa' & the outer layer says 'until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand' I can't wait to pick it up & finally wear it around my neck! Only a week to go!
Well, I guess that's about all I have to say for this post...I have some other things going on in my life, but that's a whole other post which I will get to later on today....thanks for reading & to all of you who support me emotionally...it's been a long tearful journey & I pray for better days soon.
XOXO~
